What it's built from and what it does
The watch
A zinc alloy case, electrocoated and sandblasted matte. It's real metal you can feel on your wrist, not plastic with a metal-look finish.
Rated to MIL-STD-810H. The screen sits recessed behind a raised bezel, so the bezel takes the hit before the glass does. 150,000+ workers wear this watch every day.
It's rated IP69K + 2ATM. That covers high-pressure, high-temperature water jets and submersion. Rain, sweat, mud and a hose-down at the end of the day are all fine.
16 to 18 days on a typical charge from a 1,000mAh cell. A full charge takes about 90 minutes. Charge it twice a month, not twice a day.
Heart rate, blood oxygen (SpO2), blood pressure readings, sleep, steps and calories, plus a built-in compass, barometer and altimeter. It's a wellness tracker, not a medical device.
A 2.13" AMOLED with hardened glass, bright enough to read in direct sun, with an always-on option.
Yes. It takes standard 22mm straps. The QuickRelease safety strap breaks away if it catches on machinery, and we sell magnetic, velcro, silicone and aluminum straps too.
It's a solid, square watch built to take hits, so it has some heft. Most guys say they stop noticing it after the first day.
Pairing, calls and the app
Phone and setup
Yes. It works with iPhone (iOS 9.0 and up) and Android.
A free companion app. The setup guide in the box and on our site links you straight to the right one for your watch.
Yes. Once it's paired you can answer calls from your wrist and read texts and notifications without pulling your phone out of your pocket.
For calls, texts and syncing, yes: it pairs to your phone over Bluetooth. The compass, barometer and altimeter work on their own.
Charge it, download the app, hold the side button to turn it on and pair it in the app. It takes about five minutes.

Who we are and who it's for
About Ferrix
Tradespeople. Mechanics, electricians, welders, construction crews, oil and gas, first responders, and anyone who works outdoors. If your gear takes a beating every day, this watch was built for you.
Those are built for the gym and the office. They crack, they die by lunch, and they cost several times as much. The Ferrix runs 16 days on a charge and is built from metal, for a fraction of the price.
Every unit is pressure-tested, screen-checked and battery-verified before it ships, and sample units are pulled and taken apart for analysis.
